Introduction to Choreography
This course explores the variety of career pathways available in cirque acrobatics and dance. It introduces technique and choreography . Students will explore a variety of genre. Students gain an appreciation of cirques acrobatics and dance as an art form and develop the skills necessary to pursue a variety of careers in movement artistry. The course includes application of the elements and principles of cirque acrobatics and dance, study of historical and contemporary cirque acrobatics and dance, and exploration of the art form from a careers perspective.
In order to receive credit for this course, you must complete the concurrent course "Arts, Media, Entertainment."
