including: Technique, Ballet/Lyrical, Urban Dance, Jazz/Tap, Aerialist,

This course is also part of the Career Technical Education pathway -
Arts, Media, and Entertainment. The state of California recognizes that
for a student to be college and career ready by the conclusion of high
school, they should complete the A-G minimum requirements and a CTE
pathway. The CTE pathway requires an introductory course, and intermediate course, and and advanced
capstone course to complete the pathway.
At Encore, you also have the ability to graduate from high school with a
House Cord. To earn a House Cord for the House of Performing Arts, you must
complete a series of requirements by the time you graduate. When you
complete these requirements, you earn the distinction of a special
"swag" cord to wear with your cap and gown at graduation and a
certificate.
For students wishing to graduate from Encore High School with a Masters
Certification in the Dance or Cirque Acrobatics Conservatory, this is one of the qualifying
courses that needs to be completed within the series of requirements to
be completed by the time you graduate. When you complete this course
along with a series of other items prior to graduation, you earn the
distinction of graduation with a "Master's Certification." With this certification, you earn the distinction of wearing
the instrumental music stole with your cap and gown at graduation, a
presentation of a plaque during the graduation ceremony, and the
distinction is added to your transcripts.
